A stunning garden of impressive flower beds, well tendered lawns and acre upon acre of woodland can be found at Abbeywood Estate. 6 Acres of informal and formal gardens, a kitchen garden and even a good sized play area.
It’s easy to spend a couple of hours here. We spent some time wondering around the gardens and into the woodland for a nice walk.
Then my 8 year old enjoyed playing in the children play area. Within the last year they have relocated and improved their play area. This is now in a large grassy area near the kitchen garden. There are a few climbing frames, swings and a trampoline.
Abbeywood is also a fantastic wedding venue with a gorgeous conservatory for the service and the gardens acting as a back drop for your memorable day.
Their Garden Café has plenty of seating in their glasshouse, orangery and cafe or you can sit outside on the terrace and in the Rose Garden. Anywhere you sit you will get beautiful views of the gardens. It serves lunches, homemade cakes and drinks.
