This year’s Christmas theme at National Trust property Hughenden is inspired by the gardens and gardeners of Hughenden from Mary Anne Disraeli’s designs in the 1860s to the present day care of the National Trust garden team. From Sat 20 Nov to Mon 3 Jan.

Taking inspiration from the place and its produce, the people and their stories, we’re celebrating the nature, beauty and history of the gardens at Hughenden, from their creation in the 1860s by Mary Anne Disraeli to the present day care and work of the National Trust garden team.

In the grounds will be handmade baubles and natural displays, and in the ground floor rooms of the manor, real trees dressed in fairy lights and festive decorations on a garden favourites theme.

Saturday 20th Nov to Monday 3 Jan. 10am-4pm, last entry 3.30pm. House 11am-2.15pm. Numbers in the house are limited for safety, available on a first come, first serve basis on the day only.
