The UK Slot Car Festival, sponsored by the legendary Scalextric, is an unmissable weekend for fans of all things slot cars. The event showcases a wide range of the major slot car manufacturers: Scalextric, Slot.it, Carrera, SCX, NSR, Ninco, HO AFX and more at the British Motor Museum. It also includes a massive retail area selling everything you need for your next great race.

The Festival is a perfect family trip out, especially on Scalextric Family Funday Sunday, with plenty of hands-on activities on offer. You can test-drive a range of tracks from all the major manufacturers and get stuck into a variety of white-knuckle slot racing competitions on both days of the event. Be sure to check out the stunt show, including the dreaded Slot Car Wall of Death, club tracks and competitions, and even the opportunity to paint your own figure.

Tickets for this event include access to the Museum and Collections Centre, with over 400 cars on display for you to explore, including some you’ll find models of in the retail area!

On both days, the Festival will be open from 10am until 4pm. The Museum and Collections Centre will remain open until 5pm.
