Wheatley Windmill opens a few times a year for visits from the public with Sunday 9th October the last for 2022.

The octagonal shape of this 18th Century tower mill is distinctly unusual, there are only two or three such towers in the UK

Coffee/tea and cakes are available during Open Days, as are a range of interesting souvenirs.

There is no admission charge for visiting the mill, however if you enjoy your visit they’d really appreciate a donation to the charity’s maintenance costs.

Sensible shoes must be worn. Flip-flops, mules and stilettos are not allowed on stairs and ladders and you’ll need to be aware of  uneven floors throughout the mill.
