Find when all the Christmas lights are being switched on across Hertfordshire in 2022.  Many of the events combine with a visit a Santa’s grotto, food stalls and lots more fun. Hertfordshire Christmas Lights Switch On Dates

Saturday 18th November

• Hemel Hempstead Christmas lights switch on event will offer a mixture of market stalls, children’s entertainment before the light switch on and fireworks
• Welwyn Garden City Christmas lights switch on will be a busy event with a Christmas lights trail, entertainment, kids activities and more

Sunday 19th November

• St Albans Christmas light switch on event will have some fabulous entertainment for you. Musical and theatrical entertainment from local choirs and theatre companies, as well as market stalls and street food, a snow globe, arts & crafts, games, street entertainment and Santa’s grotto.

Thursday 23rd November

• Wheathampstead Christmas lights switch on event will include fairground rides for children, live music and carol singing, Santa’s Grotto, food and drink, mulled wine and Christmas markets along both the High Street & Station Road and in the Crinkle-Crankle Garden.

Friday 24th November

• • Hertford Christmas lights switch will take place in Hertford Town Centre. The Christmas Gala will kick off the festive weekend on the Friday evening with market stalls, a performance stage, entertainment and fairground rides

Saturday 25th November

• Stevenage Christmas lights switch will also have stage performances, meeting Santa, snow globe, free face painting; and more; this is surely the most wonderful time of the year.

• Letchworth Christmas lights switch on will be a fun filled festive celebration from 11am to 7pm
